Katie Sullivan serves as the 9th Grade Vocal Music Director at Timberline School in the south-feeder of the Waukee Community School District. She directs all 9th grade choirs, directs the 9th grade show choir "Inferno", instructs group voice lessons, and co-directs Opus auditions for 8th and 9th grade students alongside Mr. Fakler. Sullivan also assistant directs Spirit and Millennium, the show choirs at Waukee High School.

Sullivan holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Iowa State University, and is in the midst of a Master's of Music Education program at University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Prior to teaching in Waukee, she was the Director of Vocal Music at Keokuk High School. In Keokuk, she taught 9-12th grade choir, directed a cappella ensembles, and directed the JV and Varsity show choirs, Vibrations and Purple Harmony.  Under her direction they were awarded many Grand Championships and caption awards. Sullivan serves as chairperson of the Iowa All-State Show Choir.

When not teaching, Ms. Sullivan loves to hang out with friends, play board games, read, and listen to music.
